Data sources
Published places must show provenance. Sources can include manual review, community confirmation, OpenStreetMap, or private importer identifiers retained for moderation.
Overture Maps place records retain record-level source attribution and licence metadata.
OpenStreetMap-derived content is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors and made available under the Open Database License. Learn more at openstreetmap.org/copyright.
Yelp ratings, reviews, photos, URLs, and ancillary fields are not retained or displayed. Business identifiers are kept private for backend matching; durable core listing fields remain disabled unless Yelp grants explicit written permission.
Activities identify their organizer and original municipal or community source, show when the record was captured or verified, and display source-specific attribution and licence terms. Imported descriptions remain in the language supplied by the source unless the source publishes an official translation.
City names and timezones include data from GeoNames contributors, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
City coverage, population estimates and adapted import boundaries use GHS-WUP R2025A from the European Commission Joint Research Centre (© European Union). Import boundaries are search areas, not administrative borders.
